Apostolic works

Borrisokane Apostolic work Society was started in Borrisokane in October in 1961, at the request of the late Rev. Dean Patrick Cahill (RIP) in 1961, it is till active today.

The work the members do, is to aid the Missions such as making priests vestments, altar liners, Rosaries, Crucifixes and knitwear etc.

They hold raffles each year – one in-conjunction with their annual display in March and another with their coffee day in December.

For those who wish, they can become ‘Honorary Members’,if interested in any of the above, please contact any member and new members are always welcome.
